Simon Tookoome is a Inuit Elder from Baker lake, Nunavut, who is famous for hunting with his 30 foot whip.
He was introduced to me on his recent trip to Whitehorse as a friend brought him to my home studio for a portrait.
He sat down and told his translator he wants to tell his story to the camera. I said yes I can do that, I do video as well.
I installed the video camera, a mike and a couple of lights in a hurry and here is a clip of the video that came out.
